liblip-dev software package provides reliable interpolation of multivariate scattered data, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblip-dev
liblip-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblip-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblip-dev *
You will get with liblip-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
